We've got our bank account
Natwest has approved our application for a bank account.
Alhamdulillah, this means that we can receive donations directly into our bank account, can set up direct debits and payments made through Stripe will be deposited straight into the account. It also means that anonymous donors can support us if anonymity is crucial to them.
What's really cool is that QuickBooks (our accounting software) integrates with Natwest. So, by using our new debit card for all payments, we have virtually no book-keeping to do.
And, on top of that, because the numbers in our accounts will directly represent the numbers in our bank account, we'll be a pleasure for our accountant (and future auditors) to work with.
